SCULPTUREEmma Rönnholms objects are a conceptual play with everyday materials. She is drawn to the mundane and seemingly meaningless: the dust, the sewing pins, the newspapers and the dishcloths, and uses the meanings they contain to ask fundamental and surprising questions.

CO-OPERATIONSSince 2012 and the room-sized installation Puoliksi Kadonneet - a living room build of crisp bread - Emma has collaborated with fellow artist Salla Vapaavuori. And in 2014 with Wavering Tiina Raitanen, Emma Rönnholm and Salla Vapaavuori worked together .
The collaborative pieces span various media from bread, ceramics and concrete to sound installations. |
